Basically, the "little chibi person" is Paimoning, your fairy companion in Genshin Impact. Early in the game, you're asked who she is, and you can reply the she's your "emergency rations" (implying you'd eat her alive if you were starving). She obviously takes great offense at this, but it was so funny that one interaction kinda exploded from there.
