I would say the real problem is that they appeased the republicans way too much. It alienated their base a lot and in the end didn’t get them anything. They tried to appease the right but that was impossible as they all will just vote for Trump anyway. They should have focused on going hard left which is what they did in the beginning to great success. Later on they shifted more and more to the right which is when their support started dropping.
Also Harris refusal to take a strong stance on Israel cost her dearly.

I don’t think that will happen. At most they will innate some bullying of sites not associated with the big internet corporations. But most of what they want is to groom children to be Christians and not question those in power or the system they are in. With “porn” they mean LGBTQ.

Why? They’re literally never going to hold any position of relevance ever again. I assume people will flock to people talking about LGBT issues, Gaza, immigrant rights and racial issues. But if it’s the Democrats just trying to throw the most minuscule little bone to us, we’ll never break out of their far-Right horseshit. Kamala was literally campaigning with Dick Cheney. A party doing that is unforgivable if they still can’t even win! It’s time to say “Fuck them” and find something else.

And by “something else,” I mean “literally anything.” Giving up on life provides a more hopeful outlook on reality than trying to support the Dems at this point.

The democrats have accomplished plenty. Just not in the right areas that were immediately noticable. Anything in the further areas could be easily burried by corporate propaganda. The biggest thing Biden had to do was raise the minimum wage.

“Ruin” is a bit of an exagerration but he will hurt it. Mainly by elevating the megacorps at the expense of everyone else. However the biggest thing they will do is put in laws via the supreme court to make sure the power of the megacorps is beyond question and that society exists to serve them not the other way around.

The decline will be gradual but it’s not really preventable at this point. Harris was sort of the last chance for the US to change course away from the decline that Reagan set it on. Decline in historical empires most often comes when you have an oligarchy that wants to maintain it’s power and ruins everything to cling on to it to the point no other institution even exists.

Now, exit polls are not 100% accurate, but they can be useful for a general idea. Here is the swing toward Trump among voters between 2020 and 2024, by race and sex.

The Black male vote appears to have been (mostly) a mirage as I predicted, but WOOF that Latine vote.
