Amongst other things, Covid is a perfect example. A study showed that Republican voters died to Covid at a roughly 2:1 rate compared to Democrats. At almost 1.1 million deaths so far, that’s something like 700k dead potential voters lost to the GQP.

Depending on how that number is distributed, that’s easily enough to swing elections. All because nobody would stand up to Trump when he kept calling it a “hoax” or said to drink bleach instead of getting vaxxed.

Congratulations to Trump and Tucker Carlson for killing more Nazis than any leftist in the current era.

Gas here in Wisconsin I’ve been seeing as low as 2.59

I have a supreme distaste of dollar stores. They are the embodiment of the Boots Theory of Economics.

We effectively force the poor to buy cheap, single use, poor quality, and unhealthy things and dress it up as a “blessing” that these stores exist.

Instead of just making good quality necessities more affordable, we are “proud” as a society that we have “given” the poor a place to shop.

Dollar stores do not fix the issues with poverty, they’re a symptom of the whole problem.

He probably means the State of California which the gas has always been expensive in that state. But it is cheaper than what it once was.

Sinema is pissed off that the 51-49 Senate means she can’t play kingmaker anymore so she’s now leaving the democrat party and registering as an independent.

Won’t matter for this go around, as in order to maintain her committee assignments she’ll have to caucus with the dems. And despite her leanings, she’s unlikely to suddenly vote more with the reps.

This is a 2024 move, to head off any primary threats in AZ.
