No, just that the effect of, and the continuing effect of Stalinist parties has been the defense of democratic regimes ironically. From the Spanish Civil War up to the recent Sudanese coup where the Sudanese Communist Party has opted from calling for the working class to withdraw and let the middle classes and the military officers fight it out, but to do a general strike to defend liberal democracy.
The historical result being the Stalinist party has been responsible for maintaining liberal regimes in the post-war, and creating liberal regimes in the post-colonial war but disguising them in a paint of red so they can pretend to be revolutionary and fall into the Russian or the Chinese orbit. The collaborationist approach of the parties could also be blamed for the degeneracy of the unions and the decline of labor.

In more “Sinema is a Republican” news, Kyrsten Sinema was walking through an airport with GOP colleague Tim Scott when one of her constituents came up and started questioning her. Sinema couldn’t be bothered to speak to her constituent beyond an initial “Don’t touch me”, but made a point to apologize to Tim Scott for a peasant approaching them.

The judge said defense can call them looters if he can produce evidence they were looting. On the other hand, the whole point of the trial is determining whether or not it was self-dense, i.e. whether or not they were really victims, no matter how obvious it may seem. I don’t know about what else the judge has done or will do, but that doesn’t seem too unjust to me.
