In the latest MAGA Death Cult news, nearly 30 percent of Republicans say they don’t plan to get vaccinated on top of a 6 percent being undecided.
 
IIRC we need an estimated 80% of the population to be vaccinated to reach herd immunity, you know that thing the GOP threw their hands and declared that’s what they’ll do to fight Covid instead of fighting Covid? Republican voters make up a fair less than 50% of the population, so 36% or so cut in half means 18% unvaccinated. Real coin toss on whether we kick this pandemic earlier rather than later.

They’re not quite done with the recount yet, but Pedro Castillo’s seems to be leading by about 50,000 votes (50.14% of the tallied ballots), while Keiko Fujimori refused to admit defeat until the last vote is counted (she previously made some unsubstantiated allegations of fraud and unsuccessfully sought to annul the results from 802 polling stations totaling 200,000 votes, which presented irregularities according to her — an accusation denied by observers from the OAS).

I can’t wait for Castillo to somehow manage to do his armed youth militias. Always a fun time when you do Red Guards.

Considering how he already broke it, it should come to no surprise that McTurtle stated in no uncertain terms that he wouldn’t ever confirm a Biden pick regardless of year.

On the other, we’ve seen dumber confessions about participation in Y’all Qaeda’s insurrection. Not many others implicates the White House, but hey.

Not as such. They cobbled together an “anyone but Bibi” coalition with parties from the left, right, and center. They’ve even got an Arab party in the mix. If the new guy does… basically anything, he runs the risk of pissing someone off and losing his governing majority.
