And just in case anyone missed it, the Senate passed President Biden’s $1.9 trillion stimulus bill today. It now goes back to the House for another vote before it will go to Biden to be signed into law.
Republicans voted unanimously against it, of course, because apparently helping increasingly desperate American citizens is not something their party believes in anymore, or an action they are in any way willing to.

Unfortunately, removing a governor is as hard as removing a president. A majority of the State Assembly to impeach, two thirds of the combined State Senate and Court of Appeals to convict.
On the plus side, merely impeaching Cuomo would be enough to remove him temporarily. According to the state constitution, the lieutenant governor becomes acting governor until (and unless) he’s acquitted or his term otherwise expires.

Unlike trademarks, copyrights don’t have to be zealously defended. And Seuss doesn’t hit the public domain until 2061(!).
