And now for some breaking news. Judge dismisses Trump's last Pennsylvania lawsuit capable of significantly disrupting election results
In a 37-page ruling, U.S. District Judge Matthew W. Brann dismissed the lawsuit, describing it as a “Frankenstein’s Monster” of tortured legal claims that sought an “unhinged” remedy that would effectively disenfranchise all voters in the state.
And here's a little something directly from the ruling itself.
In other words, Plaintiffs ask this Court to disenfranchise almost seven million voters. This Court has been unable to find any case in which a plaintiff has sought such a drastic remedy in the contest of an election, in terms of the sheer volume of votes asked to be invalidated. One might expect that when seeking such a startling outcome, a plaintiff would come formidably armed with compelling legal arguments and factual proof of rampant corruption, such that this Court would have no option but to regrettably grant the proposed injunctive relief despite the impact it would have on such a large group of citizens.

That has not happened. Instead, this Court has been presented with strained legal arguments without merit and speculative accusations, unpled in the operative complaint and unsupported by evidence. In the United States of America, this cannot justify the disenfranchisement of a single voter, let alone all the voters of its sixth most populated state. Our people, laws, and institutions demand more. At bottom, Plaintiffs have failed to meet their burden to state a claim upon which relief may be granted. Therefore, I grant Defendants’ motions and dismiss Plaintiffs’ action with prejudice.
Dismissed with prejudice, as an FYI, means the Trump campaign can't refile the lawsuit.

This makes the administration, what, 0-35 on lawsuits now? I'm not exaggerating, I think it's been 35 lawsuits he's tried and failed.

Of course it was never meant to pass. It was always so Hannity et al could ree about 'All these lawsuits…' before suspiciously stopping before they got to the '…that failed' part.

I wanna show this to the dumb suckers who think he's just taking losses in the lower courts and biding his time until the Supreme Court hears a case.
You can make it even better by also pointing out that the judge who made the decision to throw the case out (Matthew Brann) is very, very much a Republican. In addition to having been a member of the Federalist Society (an organization of conservatives and libertarians who advocate textualist and originalist interpretations of the United States Constitution), he served on the GOP State Commission in Pennsylvania, worked for 18 years on the Republican committee in his county, and was picked for his current position by Pennsylvania Senator Pat Toomey (also a Republican).

If I'm not mistaken, the total number of lawsuits thus far is 36, and the score is currently 2-34 against Trump. And of the two they did win, I only really remember one, mostly because it only applied to a number of ballots that already weren't being counted, and were too small regardless of being counted to actually affect the outcome of the state election.

At this point, Trumpanzees are banking on the dismissed cases being appealed all the way to the Supreme Court, and from there, the 6-3 conservative court handing Trump a 2nd unearned term.

There are reports that Trump is flipping out that Biden might get credit for the vaccine. Which itself is part of the reason why Trump wants to fasttrack the thing before he's out of office (while still somehow denying that Covid is a problem to begin with).

AFAIK vaccines on average take like 4 years to get full approval by the way.

As an addendum to my earlier post, another related bit of news. Pa. Sen. Toomey congratulates President-elect Joe Biden, calls on Trump to begin transition
President Donald Trump has “exhausted all plausible legal options to challenge the result of the presidential race in Pennsylvania,” according to U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey.

The Republican Pennsylvania lawmaker released a statement Saturday following Judge Matthew Brann’s decision to dismiss Trump’s campaign lawsuit challenging election results in the commonwealth. Enough certified votes counted show that Democrat Joe Biden is the victor of the 2020 election and is the incoming 46th President of the United States, Toomey said.

“I congratulate President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on their victory,” Toomey said. “They are both dedicated public servants and I will be praying for them and for our country.”

I have a question, Will the Pennsylvania case that a court dismissed yesterday go to the Supreme Court like Trump’s press statement suggested?

Funnily enough, some nutcase wearing a gas mask jumped on top of an NYC bus in New York City and began blasting a flamethrower as onlookers cheered and recorded the bizarre stunt on their cell phones.

New York Post:
A hot head with a flamethrower hopped on top of a city bus in Brooklyn and torched the air above as onlookers filmed and cheered — sparking outrage at the MTA and among police unions who say the bizarre display is the latest sign of urban decay.

The wild incident unfolded around 5:30 p.m. Nov. 8 on Putnam Avenue at the intersection with Franklin Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, the MTA confirmed.

Videos posted to social media show an unknown man on top of an ice cream truck before leaping to the roof of the B26 bus that had stopped at the intersection.

The man then fires off the flamethrower — as a crowd cheers, the videos show.

As the flammable liquid from the fire gun falls onto the bus, it briefly ignites on top of the roof, the video shows.

Commuting in NYC is torcher!

British comic Nabil Abdulrashid is fully using his male black muslim privilege with his routine by being absolutely fokking unapologetically RACIST because he knows he could ge' away wiv it.

And I luv it, because he accidentally (or intentionally) is highlighting the bias against white people.

Edit: he even lampshades it in one joke by throwing a side comment "But hey das racist! No no I'm allowed to do it, because I can't be racist, innit?!"

This has been part of the standard repertoire of our most popular comedians with an immigration background such as Abdelkarim, Kaya Yanar or Bülent Ceylan in Germany for decades. And apart from racism and Islam and ghettoisation, there are a lot of jokes and pun that are really funny in German, but unfortunately cannot be translated into English. ;-)

I personally do not care about the overt positions of so called "leftist" politicians in the US, because any genuine socialist organisation and/or person in America generally don't remain alive for long without being targeted by any organisation affiliated with the government. See: Martin Luther King's assassination by the FBI.

With that in mind, it's hard to say if people like AOC or Bernie Sanders are being left-or-centre or socialist in such an oppressive environment, like getting a comprehensive census of LGBT people in America where teenagers still get kicked out for being gay.

Though, I'd be curious to know what do you consider to be left in your eyes.

The list that conservatives have been shitting themselves over is a start with a few edits here and there, but with a few personal additions:

The immediate seizure of stockpiled wealth by the 1% and redistributing it to the rest of the population (What on Earth does Jeff Bezos need 100 billion dollars for anyway?). The arrest and summary imprisonment or executions of Big Oil company executives and stockholders for pro-fossil fuel propaganda and accelerating the rate of anthropogenic climate change along with its effects, which I deem to be a crime against humanity.

I haven't seen any actual evidence of investors losing confidence in the US because of any of this. Even investors in the US don't care. Political BS in the US is so common now that inveators don't care.

Thpugh is Dems get the senate somehow you might see a panic drop.
