According to the Washington Post, it’s a foreign interference op, as the actual email host is based in Saudi Arabia and is being spoofed to appear as though it’s from the Proud Boys ‘official’ website.

Also, blackmail involves threatening someone with retaliation if they don’t comply (statements like “or we will come after you” and “I would take this seriously if I were you” are rather unambiguous), so no it isn’t.

Also BLM can create a parody account of The Proud Boy. Would be easy to frame them. Chain can also be suspect as well, because they have something to gain if Trump’s out of office. It can also be someone from the Biden camp as news did drop that Joe and Hunter are on the list of people being investigated by Ukraine officials.
