But its interesting that you bring up sexual education, Progressives like myself support Sex Ed whereas Republicans tend to not support Sex Ed… well your Politicans. Its pretty bipartisan among the “Common Folk” like me and you. The states with the highest rates of teenage pregnancies also happen to be Southern States which are conservative states.
 
Of those states, only a few of them mandate some form of HIV and/or Sex Education.
 
Of the states with the highest abortion rates, states with legal abortions trend the highest including my state New York which is expected since abortion is… well legal. Unexpectedly however, Florida has one of the highest abortion rates as well.
 
So really and truly, red states are clearly doing something wrong.

If you don’t know sex makes babies, but you’re compelled by instinct to do it anyway…
 
On a tangent, could sex suppression be a genetic-memetic safeguard against pedophilia that became dominant because groups that didn’t have that safeguard died out? I mean, the main character of Speak is sterile due to abuse…

America needs a new path here. You have been back and forth on this issue forever. It has been ruled on by every institution you have several times. (It feels like:P) Nothing you have tried have worked. Laws dont work, chastity pledges dont work, scare tactics dont seem to do it.
 
Educate! Im not saying you should show porn to 6 year olds, but kids need to know how this works, lets say from age 10 or so. (Just to set a number as people will ask.) The education needs to get more advanced as kids get older, they need to know contraceptives and the works. No more condoms are only 98% effective bs.

I don’t know how it is in USA, but here in Europe leftists are pro sex-ed simply because it allows them to spread their ideological bullshit. (like “50+ genders” and such)
