The revenue of Amazon alone in 2019 was 265 billion dollars. That’s one single company, and like most billion dollar companies, they’ve gone completely untaxed.
 
UBI is entirely sustainable. And Republicans are totally OK with it; Alaska, a GOP stronghold, has had UBI for ages.

His appeal with women comes from a variety of factors. Those polled call him “genuine”, which is a political factor that often hits most home with women.
 
He’s also more popular among the millennials than people realize.
 
He consistently ranks “second choice” among most demographics. That is a key distinction from Clinton. Most people loathed the idea of voting for Clinton. Biden doesn’t have that issue.
 
It will be way easier for him to form a working coalition than Clinton could.

I feel that him being Obama’s right hand man in the past, who’s sorely missed right now, is also a major factor in why many people support him.
 
But I have no intention of favoring him over Bernie or Yang, or even Warren for that matter.
 
He may beat Trump but that’s a really low bar to set.

Yes. As CaptainXtra or Typhoon2000 and many have mentioned, the internet and free speech, really is threatened. different laws are created across the globe to limit what we can do. Article 13/17 in EU, several censorship in Russia, Asia… sure there’s a plus to see Wikipedia is back in Turkey, but in overall everything is going backwards.
 
The French Government now want to transform just the internet into a Television 2.0
 
The EU parliament still considering to delegating the control of the net to Google/Amazon/Facebook/Microsoft/Apple to ensure antiterrorist control  
And this is not going to do shit to stop terrorism, only a pretext to ban people. Instead to have an authority to control what corporations does, the authority tells the corporations they are the cops.
 
Back in 18, a petition have been sent to Macron for him. fighting “hate off the internet” was one of his engagemen. Minister of telecoms Mounir Mahjoubi openly claims he’s pro censorship, just like Nadi Bou Hanna, director of the State’s communication systems wants an internet controlled. They even planned an online ID, like everyone would need a way to be identified online. It’s still on the papers.
 
So yes, the governments abhors anonymity, they abhor freedom of speech and communication, information and critical thinking and this is dangerous.
