Motherfucker, he made two Nazi salutes and referenced the 14 words. No “appears” about it.

This is what I meant when I said the media is biased in favor of the Republicans. They try to spin what the Republicans do as less than it is.

Still a helluva lot better than the New York Times’s headline about it: “Elon Musk ignites online speculation over the meaning of a hand gesture”

Meanwhile, here is the statement the Anti-Defamation League made about the incident. Reminder, this is the org that has spent the past couple years smearing college students protesting Israeli war crimes as antisemitism and “promoting violence against Jews”:

I remember when The New York Times was a respectable news source. There has been such treachery, such lack of integrity, that it is hard to know who to trust anymore.

ADL have struck me as clowns for quite sometime.

Remember the last time the ADL talked about Musk? How when he said someone openly Nazi-posting about Jews was correct, and the (Israel supporting) ADL rightfully attacked him for it? Then a day later he banned the phrase “From the river to the sea” on Twitter and the (Israel supporting) ADL posted about how “ELON MUSK IS THE GREATEST SOLDIER OF THE ISRAEL!”

Yeah, the (Israel supporting) ADL has a not-so-short history of apologizing for antisemites and carrying water for antisemitism. Strange how that keeps happening.

The dumbest part about Musk doing the nazi salute is that just a week ago he livestreamed himself talking to the leader of the far-right AfD party of Germany and when she said Hitler “wasn’t a conservative, wasn’t a libertarian, he was a communist, socialist guy”, he agreed with her.

Yeah, they’ve been shit for a long time, going even further back before this.

Here’s an article from 2020 about a leaked memo from the ADL detailing their plans to steelman and justify to the public a full Israeli annexation of West Bank and discourage the US government from stopping Israel.

First day of Trump presidency 2025:

• A full pardon for about 1,500 people involved in the January 6th storming of the Capitol. This REALLY upsets me. I can’t believe the three-percenters, the Proud Boys, the Oath Keepers, and all of the traitors are gonna go free.

• A sweeping crackdown on immigration, tasking the military with border enforcement, designating cartels and gangs as terrorist groups, shutting down asylum and refugee admissions and attempting to terminate birthright citizenship
• An order to the Defense Department to more heavily involve military resources at the southern border and task officials to deploy additional troops to the border
• A restart to the construction of a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border
• A directive to the federal government to stop recognizing automatic birthright citizenship for children of people who are in the country illegally
• An order suspending refugee admission into the U.S. and branding certain Latin American gangs and cartels as foreign terrorist organizations
• An executive action withdrawing the U.S. from the Paris Climate Treaty
• An order declaring a national emergency related to energy costs for American consumers, one of which focuses specifically on Alaskan economic and energy production
• An order putting an end to electric vehicle mandates. Elon’s NOT gonna like this.
• A memorandum on inflation, directing the government to focus on bringing down rising costs. I’m not sure how that’s gonna work….

But the US’ role as the leader of the world will likely be over. We already had our image tarnished the first time around, and it’s all but certain that our allies won’t trust us with secret information anymore. Not the least of which be because Trump is likely to make good on pulling out of NATO, so why would the organization that contains like a third of the world and every developed nation east of the Balkans want to work with us?

The first time I’ve noticed about their suspicious behavior was when some posted a video of someone spreading a false rumor about how Disney was “bullying” theaters into playing “Mufasa: The Lion King” in theaters so that the movie will make more money. Most of the people there jumped onto the “Fuck Disney” bandwagon without verifying the information, while me and one other user said the info was BS. I even said that the person who posted the video was a grifter, and a couple of people defended their actions by saying that believing in false information is “human nature” or something like that. I later posted an info about how it was actually Paramount who was not allowing small theater owners for not playing “Sonic 3” because they were not playing “Gladiator II,” but they ignored me.

Maybe it was inevitable. We were never meant to be the leader of the free world. We only stumbled into it because Europe went nuts and blew themselves up—twice. Now, with the EU and the ECHR, interstate cooperation and liberal democracy are built into their very fabric, while we’re… *waves hand vaguely*

Just a little European perspective here, you still very much are the leaders of the free world. Every country over here waits with bated breath for the changes that are coming and tries to prepare for them. The hope is that Trump can be placated and NATO can be preserved. Defense spending and more is ramping up. Leaders hope the trade tariffs will not become too bad. Still confusion about the whole Greenland thing. As for Ukraine some hope Trump will hammer in a peace of some sort and offer Ukraine adequate guarantees for its security.
