Don't blame me, I voted for the other guy. (Politics General)

To be clear, none of these people are currently part of Trump’s inner circle, at least not in an official capacity. And many of them take pleasure in online trolling; it’s possible that the Project 2025 celebration is just that.
But all of them have been loyal soldiers in the right-wing apparatus that worked to secure Trump’s comeback, and some are likely to wind up with roles in the administration when it takes over Jan. 20. And there are signs that several people who either contributed to or have publicly supported Project 2025 are on Trump’s shortlist for high-ranking administrative posts.

I think one thing the Dems really need to come to grips with is the fact that Americans really hate getting involved in foreign conflicts in any capacity. Yes Americans dislike Putin and overwhelmingly support Ukraine but they aren’t willing to make personal economic sacrifices to ensure victory. This isn’t the 1950s-60s anymore, nor is it the 90s-early 2000s. It’s also why the right’s concern-trolling over the draft was pretty effective (never mind Trump is someone more likely to reinstate the draft than not) and why Trump was able to co-opt the “anti-war” label so easily (even though he is anything but).

Well, you wouldn’t want another January 6 Riot, now, would ya?
If you were to truly care about protecting what little human rights remain in the USA, you would NOT just hand over power to fascists, like Franz von Papen and Philippe Pétain did in 1933 and 1940 respectively. Nowhere did I mention starting riots.
Believe me, we’re doing everything we can to resist the Orange Fuck, but there’s only so much we can do without going to prison ourselves…or worse.

Just in case folks don’t go to read the full article, that was just one part of the picture. Another survey quoted found that the anti-trans ads had the least amount of impact, motivating just 4% of voters this election. It also suggested based on the examples given that the anti-trans pivot among Democrats is (for now) the minority opinion.

One can argue the military might lean R but they’re certainly not overwhelmingly Republican, they’re more evenly split

Saw this random post on X saying Superman was a country boy who grew up in small-town Kansas and therefore would vote Republican.
Which is bizarre, since a) Superman isn’t real, and b) he’s an alien from another planet, a literal illegal immigrant, which means he wouldn’t have been able to vote at all.
But I guess intelligence isn’t that user’s specialty, isn’t it?

TBF it’s been established in multiple continuities that Superman has been on Earth for so long and has helped save it so many times he’s basically considered a registered citizen even if he is a literal alien
Also do you really want to deny a green card to someone who could punt you all across the galaxy and back in the amount of time it takes someone to blink?
@Angrybrony
A lot of right-wing/Anti-woke comic fans tend to be very oblivious to a lot of these things.
Like people who say that Captain America should be a Conservative government lapdog, or how Homelander is actually the good guy

You know, this actually has made me put in my 2 cents.
Superman moved to New York (Metropolis).
Meanwhile, Hank remained in Arlen.
Theoretically speaking, if they were real, both would’ve voted for Harris.
