I don’t know how you can lose that much land in 4 hours. Battles in cities can stalemate for days on end yet Ukraine is retaking entire towns in half the time you work a shift.

People have been theorizing he has based on some oncology specialists that’ve visited him (or his yacht), and his ups and downs with puffy faces one day and stiff as a stick the next. But nothing confirmed.

I wish people would stop talking about his “cancer”. It’s too just-world and make it seems as if utter bastards get cancer (and not because they use proceeds to evade all other deaths till they are 99). Plus it may distract from the real problem and make it seem as if the problem will remove itself soon(tm).

But if anyone wants it one corner of runet has even more advanced theory. Not just cancer but cancer + Alzheimer’s. The theory says Putin ha both but the treatment is not compatible (it is in fact based on a specific case mentioned in one paper). So when he gets treatment for Alzheimer’s he is mostly sane, at least enough to make decisions and had others obey them, but he is in a lot of pain, hates everyone and wants to kill everyone. But when he needs to make a public appearance he urgently gets cancer treatment as not to appear too sick and ends up being a mostly safe fool willing to discuss rubber asses with everyone. With the war going on the need to change between the modes appears more and more often and instead of metaphorical red light or blue light we have epilepsy-inducing strobing and cancerheimer (alzheimercer).

They hit a major fuel train line in the occupied regions too.

Crimea is likely to start rapidly running out of supplies. Putin will likely have to divert military resources to prevent civil unrest there.

It was a truck bomb. There’s actual security cam footage on Twitter showing it explodng. And this explosion also blew up the train tank cars. Unfortunately 3 civilians were killed.
The worse part is Russia has hi tech inspection systems on the bridge that are supposed to detect and stop events like this, so it’s yet another failure. They say the rail line will be repaired later today, but I’m sure the bridge’s structural integrity was compromised by that much fuel burning. The walkways along the bridge were melted and this fire went all the way down inside the bridge deck.

And Ukraine will be making stamps to commemorate the event. :P

Sad to hear about the collateral. Regardless with this move and assuming Russia can’t fix the rail lines, it means Kherson (and maybe even Zhaporizhia) is as good as Ukranian.

However they must strike fast and hard. The tactical balance in the south is in favor of Ukraine, but they must seize this opportunity.

I remember one joke in Russia that mentioned about the Chinese gov issuing “last warnings” that it will never keep.

In total, over 900 “warnings” were issued over the Taiwan dispute.

Any attempt done via the ukrainian mainland though is dangerous as it’s within HIMARS range. At least by train I think.

Russia’s response to the bridge destruction was once again threaten the world with a nuclear disaster.

Russia launched a large artillery strike on the Zaporizhzhia plant area, severing the last power line keeping the generators running.

The plant has 10 days of diesel as a backup, but if it’s not reconnected to the grid it could cause a major disaster.

The Putin regime is a threat to the entire planet and he needs to be put down like the rabid dog he is.

What I find really fascinating is how the US far right is lining up behind Putin and Russia. The comment sections between Breitbart (etc.) and RT (etc.) are perfectly in sync with their talking points, memes, and insults.

They’re prepping their base for when they try to cut funding to Ukraine if they take both chambers of congress.

“Russia Today”, a Kremlin-run media organization for foreign consumption. There are others (like Sputnik), but RT pretends to be the more “liberal” and “fair and balanced” of them all, but is ultimately more hardcore alt-right than Breitbart or OANN. The comment section is full of racism, conspiracy theories, antisemitism, etc., while any comment that so much as suggests the official Kremlin propaganda might not be accurate gets instadeleted.

Russian nationalists pretend they’re liberating poor Ukrainians from a nazi dictatorship, while their main non-russian speaking news site calls the country “Jewcraine”, because they know the US alt-right blames all their maladies on jews and Soros.

Two Russians arrived on St. Lawrence Island in Alaska after fleeing conscription. St. Lawrence Island is only 46 miles from Russia, but they sailed about 300 miles from Egvekinot. They must be truly desperate to try crossing the Bering Sea in a small boat in October.
