Not really. One happens everyday, usually followed by self-suicide. So it’s safe to assume they’re not scared of the cops.

GOP candidate for Illinois Governor Darren Bailey has speedran the typical Republican talking points in response to the shooting, skipping the Thoughts and Prayers phase and going straight to saying we need to “Move on” and go back to “Celebrate” the holiday.

To be fair, lots of people have “attended” Trump rallies just to see with their own two eyes what kind of whackadoodle shit goes on in them. I’m not sure attending one while dressed as Waldo is really good evidence for anything.

This guy mostly seems just really fucked in the head and shouldn’t have been left alone in a kitchen without supervision, let alone anywhere near firearms.

It’s pretty safe to assume death, retaliation and incarceration is up there in the list of fears for most people.

Knowing that police officers can lock you up for a sentence longer than your current life, or that they can put a bullet in your spine if you try to run, is a pretty good reason not to inflict violence on others.

Lack of fear for ones own life is rare, and often faked to come off as crazy. There isn’t much biological basis for someone who really doesn’t care, and I think a lot of suicide is impulsive.

I would say I fear prison more than death, but I’ve never been in the situation to weigh the two fears.

And these shooters who are prepared to end their own lives after their spree made that decision already. That’s my point. When you go out to shoot up a crowd, living afterwards isn’t part of your plan.

Do you really want me to a TL;DR for these articles? Cause both articles talks about minors in two separate states denied access to abortion, one in Ohio being a 10-year old Rape victim, and 12-year old in Mississippi being a victim of incestuous rape.

Because of things like poverty and mental illness, there will always be killers that are completely senseless. However despite this, it’s still safe to say that the legal system ends a lot of violence before it begins.

Police might be pretty bad sometimes, but they fill a position of power that will just get taken up by someone else in their absence. If the police are not armed, the streets will just be taken over by someone who is.
