And now for something completely different.

So while scrolling through the news I chanced upon something, amusing. An article from the Federalist. Now, normally I wouldn’t bother clicking on that alt-right drivel, but this got me curious.

The article was about how the character Luisa from Encanto was “too beefy”.

The article, written by a middle aged white man because of course it was, went on to explain how womens bodies work, how his “scouring” of Google led him to find not one picture of a beefy woman, how women are “gods beauty”, deriding her voice actress for being “husky”, bringing up that C. S. Lewis book “That Hideous Strength” that all the alt-right like to talk about ever since they started being too close to 1984 to actually use it to attack the left anymore, and just a big heaping helping of “Disney is trying to destory traditional America/Masculinity/God”.

It was a hilarious read.

Ostensibly “for their safety” and supposedly so suspects don’t have time to destroy evidence.

No-knock warrants make very little sense if it’s for “officer safety.” An armed homeowner is more likely to shoot the intruders, whether they be burglars or SWAT. I mean, the homeowner wouldn’t be able to tell the difference at first if the police don’t announce it first.

No, I’m from Córdoba. An important republican stronghold in presidential and midterm elections, but we have our own peronist party in the provincial government.

Relatedly, whenever a cartoon gives female characters a perfect face, thick thighs and long stylized legs, but makes the male characters the look of of a clump of playdough squeezed my an angry fist, it’s all good.
