Qaren has been hit with a double ethics violation for still refusing to wear a mask in Congress. As such she’s once again being slapped with another fine.
I’unno, on some level I’m glad she’s there. I think we pay our Congresspeople way too much for a group that doesn’t have any restrictions on financial conflicts of interest, so having at least one there having an almost daily fine is a decent refund on our tax dollars.
I mean, that’s not what they meant when they say “Party of Fiscal Responsibility”, but hey Qaren is doing her best to balance the national budget with her salary.

In Malaysia, there’s one European or American woman who became notorious for stubbornly refusing to wear a health mask in a shopping mall. She even accused everyone else of being “communists” for wearing masks.
Some local White Malaysians sometimes apologised on her behalf, and the government of Malaysia is looking for her. I am sure that in the US, some White conservatives will denounce their Malaysian counterparts as cowards.
Another reason to thank Shiva I am not an American. Their obsession with so-called freedom leads to crazy behaviour.
These people do exist, and they tend to be from Black, Asian, and Latino groups, especially from the US.
They call this attitude to see themselves (instead of all-White casts) “representation”, which may lead to calls for diversity and some artists doing “racebending” of existing European characters just to attract the non-White audiences and keep them from feeling rejected or alone.

Jontron really needs to pick his fights better.
He apparently jumped on the “Fauci is behind the virus or had some sort of involvement in it’s creation” bandwagon while linking to material that is far more speculative than actual evidence.
I’ve followed and watched that guy for around a decade by now, even sticking with him through a certain stream debacle, I’d hope he would’ve put more thought into matters like that since then.
The man can have his own opinions but he sure as heck needs to learn how to share them without looking like an ass.
