Here and on many countries it would be, but this is not the decision of any government, it would be the presure of cable and telecom companies to change the prices and let the business determine it.
Actually, we never had any. Some companies here (Orange and a few others) limits the bandwidth to services on 4g or even wifi hotspots. ISPs at some point used to even block P2P and a few other protocols.
Laws are different everywhere, but again, it’s you, as a consumer, as a person who pay who will decide. This is capitalism, don’t wait for mommy government to defend you all the time, vote with your Master Card, instead of being a blind consumer. That’s the thing and it’s always been, but that’s not politics here, it’s commonsense, it’s math. it’s logic, it’s business.
It’s not corproations or capitalism that created monopolies, but you, the consumers, who drool over the newest iPhone or makes memes out of a fucking McDonald’s sauce.
No one here knows shit about what’s going on. Net neutrality is not endangered unless you aren’t giving a fuck and stop having an influence over the market. People are using spooks and fear over a CNN article, a biased, abridged form of clickbait. If they could make an article or post about “Nasa found Aliens and we are all doomed” they would. Times Warner CNN and all these news media groups would be the first to profit from the loss of net neutrality, and will not do a shit to stop it but make you cry.
“Bwaaah look! Our mother corporation and the banks that funds us are pushing to take down net neutrality, so be mad at Trump! It’s all his fault!”
