Young Uyghur girl is embarrassed to say her brother’s name in her native tongue.
 
Her being embarrassed is fine. Is normal to feel that peer pressure especially if you’re trying to fit in.
 
But what’s interesting is that the girl suspected the teachers who asked her to speak uyghur did it to bait her into committing a punishable offense. “If I say it in uyghur you’re going to spank me.” she said.
 
I’m sure the thought didn’t even come across the teachers’ minds but, why does the girl even think that way in the first place? What are her parents teaching her?!

Wokeism destroys fun. Kills profit. Hollywood is in a climate of fear. Do something wrong and the digital lynch mob shows up. Disney for instance is a prime example of this. Everything Hollywood does this with tanks, Star Wars, Star Trek, Doctor Who and the list goes on. Fans have had it and are tired of having their entertainment become soapboxes for Hollywood liberals wanting to score points with Twitter. We are in the age of online reverse McCarthyism. Check the boxes or face the digital tribunal. As a result we are all getting poorer entertainment and we become dumber as a whole.
 
Not everybody in the industry thinks like this but they are afraid of the consequences of stepping out of line.
 
We had cool women, pocs and the works in the 90s. Worked like a charm. Now it’s political, designed to make you think a particular way according to the online consensus of what’s politically correct.
 
It sucks. Time to end the woke era and move on from this cultural one way street.
