Premise: White ppl vastly outnumber colored people. Each white person and each colored person produces the same amount towards building the country.
Conclusion: Therefore white ppl’s contribution towards building the country far outnumbers the contribution of colored ppl. Hence, in general, white ppl built the country.

While this is true, they also aren’t concerned with pedro pascal made a twitter post comparing Trumps immigration policy of detaining kids to Nazi death camps, or their support of the Chinese Communist Party while it is performing an ethnic cleansing of Uigher Muslims. Now we know it’s all about the money. People don’t like Trump so they will give Pascal a pass and China is a big market. So it Disney’s position is understandable, they are reacting to what fans react to but fans are hypocrits.

China has 5 times the population of the US and the surrounding area has something like two thirds of the planet’s entire population, of course the capitalist corporations would try to cash in on such a colossal market to sustain their unsustainable growth. I estimate that by 2077 they’ll have to invade one 2012-Earth-level planet a year to sustain profit growth.

Let me give you an analogy.
Say you have some twat who starts a forest fire while making meth out in the backwoods, and then doesn’t report it till a hectare or two is up in smoke.
That’s China in this situation, and what they did was awful.
That being said, now imagine the fire department put their fingers in their ears and pretended that the fire would burn itself out in a day or two. And went door to door telling people in the path of the fire that there was nothing to worry about.
That’s the other governments in this situation.
China started the bullshit train with their secrecy and ineptitude, but once the cat was out of the bag the world governments share part of the blame for letting it shit on the carpet.

The thing is, I have no issue with a company wanting to appeal to the Chinese demographic. The problem comes from the socialist Chinese government and what it is doing and how people in the US will denounce the government but not react when they see Disney willing to work with it.
