I just want men and women to get along regardless of gender politics. And i just want the gender wars to end already, because I’m getting sick and tired of people crying SJW over women stuff (like for example Captain Marvel). And sexual harassment accusations can be over merit rather than gender.

There’s a huge difference between an individual parent “Man, I’m glad I raised this child” and society saying “If you don’t make a family, you don’t contribute to society and are worthless.”

So if I’m reading things right the Corona relief bill got blocked in the Senate because Reps turned it into a massive corporate bailout (just don’t call it Socialism) by giving Trump some $500 billion in slush funds?

Not likely with Trump, at least not unless it’s a last resort kind of thing. Yes, this is a crisis, but it should be managed while respecting the basic rights we all have. Trump seems to be trying his best to do accomplish that (and I don’t care what anyone else has to say about that.)

It’s why I roll my eyes whenever they bitch about socialised [whatever]. They’re all to happy to give handouts to defence contractors, banks, car makers, and farmers, but doing something that would benefit your average American is apparently a bridge too far.
 
The last one really gets me, as agriculture doesn’t need government handouts in order to survive. I know that for a fucking fact because I was born after farm subsidies ended here in NZ, and grew up on a farm. My job involves servicing the rural sector, and most farmers aren’t poor, that’s for sure.
