I honestly find it funny the amount of political related threads this site has, considering the main message of the show is about how Friendship is Magic, yet politics do not normally result in the friendliest of discussions.
Also, I hope that the Net Neutrality thing today works out.

August 1914, at the start of the First World War, Admiral Charles Fitzgerald founded the Order of the White Feather with support from the prominent author Mrs Humphrey Ward. The organization aimed to shame men into enlisting in the British army by persuading women to present them with a white feather if they were not wearing a uniform.This was joined by some prominent feminists and suffragettes of the time, such as Emmeline Pankhurst and her daughter Christabel. They, in addition to handing out the feathers, also lobbied to institute an involuntary universal draft, which included those who lacked votes due to being too young or not owning property

He was in the retreat from Mons, the Battle of the Marne and the first Battle of Ypres, before he caught a fever and was sent home. Walking across Putney Bridge, four girls gave him white feathers. “I explained to them that I had been in the army and been discharged, and I was still only 16. Several people had collected around the girls and there was giggling, and I felt most uncomfortable and … very humiliated.” He walked straight into the nearest recruiting office and rejoined the army.

There are several campians that say “Women are weak and need help. “HeforShe”.
Feminists go to talking seminars like Tedx and even the UN to say they need things changed because how “Weak” women are.
Feminists tend to hate sluts because they don’t like they will willingly give sex to men.
Men love sluts because they’re easy, but no one is going to marry a slut. I doubt women would date a fat, hairy bald man with a small income. prove me wrong on that aspect, please.
Women tend to not seek hire waged jobs as they tend to meet men that provide for them, so they decide to stay home to take care of the children. I’ve seen people demanding quotas to just put women into these jobs, but don’t you think that’s an insult to women that actually put in the effort to get them?
Women are seen as weak and unable to fend for themselves, less likely to get hired for higher wage jobs, and are seen as whores or sluts if they have too much sex. Those are just a few examples.

You’re talking about feminism like it’s a monolith, which it’s not. There are multiple different schools of feminism, all with different ideas on how to achieve gender equality.

Don’t know what world you live in, but these days most moms are working to support their family alongside the dad. These days it’s hard for a family to have a sole provider.

You know, on the topic of the Net Neutrality thing I can’t help but feel that the FCC is going to get its way despite all the backlash. It feels like no matter how much the people hate something the US government just ignores it. They probably think we’re all just peasants, it really pisses me off.

I wish there was a list of women run off twitter do to the mob that arouse when they said the unspoken line “I don’t consider myself a feminist”
It is this inherent trait that feminists on a whole believe they are arbiters of equality and morality and to say to her why brands you with a scarlet letter, even their own aren’t safe. Laci Green, Liana K, Cassie Jay and the fore mentioned Erin Pizzy have been subjected to the supposed “harassment” and ostracization feminists claim they want to fight against.
I think the populous is getting tired of the hypocrisy that’s been pedaled for years under the guise of equality. As a feminist shouldn’t you want to fight the same battle to give equal rights? If it meant giving up that label would you? What do you get from calling yourself a feminist? What injustice have you fought against?

The U.S. voted for Republican control of all three branches of the U.S. government - the U.S. is getting exactly what it voted for.
