Democrats continued their recent string of self-owns and pivoting rightward as the White House [accepted Republicans' framing of Brazil banning Xitter and condemned the country for disrespecting free speech](https://nypost.com/2024/09/17/us-news/white-house-condemns-brazil-for-banning-x-in-free-speech-fight-with-elon-musk/).

Leaving aside the supreme hypocrisy of the condemnation with how eager Biden and friends were/are to ban Tik Tok, this is performatively throwing away good relations with one of our allies all to continue sucking up to people who weren't going to vote for them anyways.
