People sometimes feared that leftists might hound them for some mistake they've made, so that's why they try to pander to leftists by making their works more "diverse" or implementing poorly-written works to attract their sales. It's not about locking kids in cages, but about fans harassing people on the Internet: that is what chuds and some artists consider as "cancel culture".
