You have to check that everything is compatible first. Your CPU and RAM options are determined by your motherboard, so I’d upgrade that too.
I highly recommend a motherboard with space for M.2 drives. They’re so nice - small and super fast with easy wireless installation.
With a new CPU you’ll probably want a new cooler because the stock coolers are crap. I recommend Noctua. Liquid cooling is overrated IMO. Why add unnecessary complication? Noctua coolers are simple and high quality. Check their site for compatibility.
If you should need fans, I don’t recommend Noctua, however. Arctic fans are cheaper, look better, and are just as good.
