When I played the original Digimon game on PS1 I kept trying to get Monokromon for some reason. But I don’t think His ultimates are good so I used Trisaramon.

The first Digimon World game, yes. The games tend to have branching evolution, so most lines makes sense to some degree if you can justify it to yourself.

On a side note, the stat requirements for certain evolution in the booklet were poorly translated, so the actual requirements were unknown until relatively recently.

Fun Fact: The cactus with boxing gloves isn’t in DW1 because it’s a gen 2 digimon, and DW1 had only gen 1 Digimon in it.
