I remember arguing with someone about the Monkey’s Paw story. Basically, they were claiming that the son wasn’t an undead or possessed because we never saw him. Problem was, the story made it clear that the paw twisted the wish, so the odds of it just being their son, returned to normal was a decimal at best. I think all they saw was a wish being granted and not the pattern of events involving it.
Every day, I watch 3 episodes (minimum) of “The Simpsons”, “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” and “Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir” and a movie on Disney+.
I don’t normally share my writing with others until it’s finished, but I wanted to share this sentence I came up with. This might be the best sentence I’ve ever written.
