I formulated a bizarre theory the other day concerning online artists.
Specifically the ones that seem to have an inability to draw women that look like women. Now just so there’s no confusion, i mean the ones that do this
unintentionally, and have no pushy headcanon or racial animus reasons to justify it.
The theory is that they can’t stop themselves from drawing what they find aesthetically pleasing, but can also only fathom in their own heads what makes males physically attractive, and so wind up giving females meant to be attractive masculine features touched in the lightest ways that they think hint at femininity.
This theory of course rides on the assumption that these artists are inevitably female, more straight than not, and don’t consider themselves attractive enough to use themselves as a model to spring off.
Not an artist, so this could all be bunk, but it is only a theory.
