Nice. I use MIRA biochemical filters with mine now. Way more protection than the old 80s filters. Those are really only good for tear gas.

You see the filters, left and right? The filter mounts are designed to allow quick installation and removal of the M61 filter.
Twin M61 filters, that is. One installed on each side of the mask, provides protection from CBRN agents. The M61 filter assembly bodies are constructed from injection-molded plastic. The M61 filters contain an activated carbon media and a high efficiency particulate filter.
Also, it has a drinking system. Convenient, and the drinking system is integrated into the front module main body and consists of an external drink tube fitted with a drink coupler to link to the water canteen and an internal drink tube fitted inside the mask. A lever arrangement opens the drink tube safety shutoff valve and causes the internal drink tube to swing to the wearer’s mouth.

Hey, when the air around you becomes deadly, there isn’t much else that can help you other than a quality gas mask.
BTW, if you’re going to get any gas mask, make sure it’s suited for CBRN threats. If you’re looking for a mask that can handle it all, be sure to check out the MIRA Safety CM-6M Tactical Gas Mask.
It’s used internationally by police, military, and law enforcement, and is highly regarded by preppers.
Also, be sure to pick up the VK-450 CBRN/CO filter since, AFAIK, it’s the only 40mm NATO threaded filter on the market that can handle CBRN agents and carbon monoxide. It will transform any full-face respirator into a fire escape mask, converting CO into CO₂ and allowing you to breathe it out.
