Ojala is possibly derived from Inshallah but the meaning is super divorced from religion to the point that it basically means “hopefully.”  
So I use “si dios quiere” to make sure I really mean inshallah
 
Ojala que no venga tarde: I hope he dont come late.  
Dios quiere, no vendra tarde: Inshallah he won’t come late.
 
I mean, I say “Que vaya con dios” instead of the simple “Adios” (note the DIOS in Adios).
