Y’know I’m prolly gonna start using the phrase ‘Deus Vult’ since I unironically use Inshallah regularly.  
Deus vult = god wills (it)  
Inshallah = god willing
 
“We take Jerusallem today, Deus Vult!”  
“Jerusalem will not fall today, Inshallah!”
 
“Imma pass the exam, deus vult”  
“Inshallah he passes the exam”
 
Note that their meaning are the same.
 
I am already interchanging inshallah with the spanish (si) dios quiere and nobody raises an eyebrow. Deus Vult, which is latin, shouldn’t even be offensive.
 
I’ll try use that tomorrow during Jumaa prayer. See if ppl yell at me.
