So I just finished watching the first episode of the high school show that was apparently too edgy for TV.
 
Having gone in with no expectations whatsoever, I gotta say, it was pretty damn good.

Dunno what that is, but I was talking about Freaks and Geeks, the only high school TV show that was actually realistic and not highly glamorized. (Incidentally, that’s likely why audiences didn’t gravitate toward it.

Seems counterproductive, since holding onto anger isn’t healthy. Still, you can still distrust someone or even want them to stay out of your life, but letting go of said bitterness and just keeping an eye on them (if you forgive them for their actions) or keep them out of your life (if you can’t) can do wonders.

Just remember: Valentine’s Day as we know it is strictly a commercial creation. The holiday was created to sell flowers and candy, and it does in spades. People can make of it what they want, of course, but it was never intended to be such an in-your-face event that essentially shames those of us like me who don’t have anyone and haven’t had anyone for a very long time.

It’s my party and I will eat sweet pottos alone in my room if I want to.
