That’s not the whole point of Oneshot. Oneshot is about fourth wall breaking and the very concept of fictional characters itself. I have to admit it probably wouldn’t work if you don’t care about Niko since the game is nothing but puzzle solving. Niko is quite literally the reason Oneshot exists. It’s a super easy game but I deem it a masterpiece because of the story and emotions it delivers.

I like puzzles so gameplay will win for me. But if it really has that clever storytelling then I mught give it a shot or at least watch a playthrough.

last night had this dream where I’m accused of a crime I didn’t commit. I went peacefully after of course turning off my computer so I won’t waste battery. As I was being purp walked away through my living room because somehow the whole thing took place in my house I went past the basement and wondered if I should insist on being locked in the basement because the secret organization that framed me was based there. Instead though I was locked up on my back porch by anthro lions from the lion king who don’t like me for some reason. Also somehow they’d taken over that part of the house and lived there. Once inside though I realized that the door to my front porch to the outside was still broken, they hadn’t fixed it (note irl I have an enclosed porch and no the door isn’t broken).

So I made my escape and waiting for me outside was my girlfriend silverstream so we escaped together through the backyard where on our way out she flirted with me. Once outside in the woods I came across an ancient shrine, I broke a circle shaped rock for an ancient crystal to open it. Turns out it’s just an elevator that goes down a bit. I wandered a bit for before running into some monsters on hyrule field and that’s where it ended.

I advice you to go in mostly blind, especially the Solstice ending. Solstice is what makes Oneshot so great to me.

Speaking of dreams, earlier after getting off work, I took a nap, and had a breif dream where vivziepop and co had a fighting game will all the characters, and I mean ALL OF THEM. One character always had a counter EXCEPT FOR VALENTINO. Valentino was BUSTED and nobody wanted to play with a Valentino main until an update came out, and instead of nerfing Valentino, they made it so Octavia countered Valentino and there were SO many memes of Octavia beating the ever loving FROGSPAWN out of this grown man who was 5 times her size.

I wish it was real now…

All jokes aside, stay safe out there. It’s gonna be rough, but as long as you don’t stop fighting, things WILL get better.

Funny, I also have played GTA 4 myself and really like this Niko too. Guess I have a thing with Nikos. This is not the only time both Nikos are associated together either.
I wish there was a “I think we have to kill this guy” meme with both Nikos though.
