I initially looked up Civet because I was not sure what one looked like. Then civet coffee came up. After reading it I instantly thought of “The Bucket List,” movie. There is a literal scen in there where they mention cats and coffee. That has to be one of my favorite movies in my family.

Heck, London doesn’t usually get white Christmases. The last time it did IIRC was 1820. The reason “Christmas = snow” is entirely because Charles Dickens grew up when steam power killed off the Little Ice Age and was nostalgic for his childhood and refused to leave it.

Maybe it’s also an elevation thing (not just latitude.) London is at or near sea level. But then again, so is New York City, and New York always seems to get its snow.
