Someone should explain the “fire/ice/lightning” thing to me, how is ice strong against lightning and fire weak to it?

off the bat, i guess ice doesn’t conduct lightning easy.

Water conducts electricity by its contaminants such as salt or other minerals. When it melts; however, it tacles fire.

Though its kind of difficult for a path of columbs of electron charge to flow if the contaminants are suspended in a frozen solid. So, I digress

That is their elements, but in pokemon, fire is strong against ice. Their types don’t meaningfully have relations beyond that.

At least, in their current states. Maybe they were meant to in their initial development.
