That’s the main thing I usually notice, if they aren’t using strong Canadian jargon.

Hello, Canadian here. Not all of them do that.

We’re not a close-nit little village with predictable customs, we’re a whole region with our own dialects, just like most of the United States.
Also, I’ve personally heard more fellow Canadians pronounce about kind of like “aboat”, not “aboot” like people in the States seem to think.
