@Background Pony #F6FA
Yeah a lot of the tropes that you see in cowboy films were exaggerated and made up by Hollywood just to make the wild west look more interesting when in fact, it looked pretty boring
@Meanlucario
I can imagine an old man in the 1930s telling his grandkids about his crazy adventures in the west leaving out that it was actually pretty mundane back then
Am I just being hopelessly paranoid, or do heartache (the theme playing when you fight Toriel) and the Deltarune chapter 2 trailer music sound alarmingly similar to the main menu and Staff Roll themes from Touhou’s Scarlet Weather Rhapsody?
@Mellow Rhythm
I’ll argue that criticism itself isn’t bad, nor is knowing the flaws of your favorite games/movies/shows/etc. It’s when you refuse to acknowledge them or only see the flaws and not the good that’s when there is an issue.

Reminds me of the video game involving a cursed copy of Duck Hunt.
@Meanlucario
Stop right there, Mr. Smartarse. I never said criticism was bad.
I meant to imply that, while criticism can be used to improve yourself, you shouldn’t let it weight you down or discourage you.
@Mellow Rhythm
Criticism is two-way. The giver should be constructive, and the receiver open and willing to listen and take notes. Either side failing their part (or worst, both sides) is where problems start to arise.
