I noticed that Genshin Impact exploded in popularity despite only being available for a short time. Which leads me to a conspiracy theory I have regarding mobages: if their developers commission artists to draw fanart of characters they anticipate will be popular, in order to drum up interest in the game.

I believe the new ones are called Wojaks. They behave like rage comics in a way. I remember when Wojak was known as feels guy.

Ahh, the wojaks, yes yes, I also remembered those as Feels guy, or flamethrower guy, depending on the mood I had while I searched for memes.
 
I think the only thing they have similar to the older rage comics it’s the drawing style (Ex: no color, just black outline on a white background, occasionally colored but it doesn’t matter.)
