Basically, yeah. The organizer of the meme has said that it’s a joke and that he’s obviously not going to invade the real Area 51 (if they were, they wouldn’t have made it so public).

In the 40s there was an incident outside of Roswell New Mexico which people believe was an alien spacecraft crashing and was recovered by the US Government and hidden at a place called Area 51.  
Allegedly.

Fast forward, and Area 51 is a top secret US Air Force base located in Nevada. It is used as a testing ground for the most advanced military aircraft and technology on earth.
