Maybe a bit, but everyone is a little weird about something, so in the grand scheme of things it’s probably not too troubling.
I have to admit though, I can’t understand why anyone would ever want to send one. Even ignoring the possibility that someone would find out you’re the source or upload your picture online or some other horrifying scenario, I’d be too concerned about the response. There are few situations as potentially humiliating as a “that’s it?” on one of the most honest pictures you’ll ever take.
