Drew Dober (in Blue) tapped out to this. Seriously impressed how Islam Makachev (Red) could pull this off. reason is because this was NOT textbook head-and-arm choke.
-Red's head is under Blue's left armpit, but Red is in Blue's half guard on Blue's RIGHT. Textbook usually looks like this.
The attacker's body is ideally on the outside, on the same side.
Furthermore, Red probably knows he can't get a nice squeeze from that position so he bridged his body up, propping himself with his toes and *really* drive that shoulder on the ground, like he gonna crush somebody windpipe.
