In the old EU, palpatine, unsurprisingly, played a part in making that happen as part of his ultimate plans to destroy the Jedi and old republic.

I know, but he also says that Naboo has a history of young leaders even younger than 14.

I’m giving KOTOR another go, and have learn that controllers don’t work with it. Any guides for items and quests I should know about? I’m using the Strategywiki for now.

I’d use a program like Flawless Widescreen, because KOTOR doesn’t have native support for resolutions like 1080p, 1440p and 4K.

That is a stupid rumor, why the heck would they even consider this? Not at this point. I actually would buy it if they would announce a remake of the whole saga, thought even that would be too soon right now.

And as Eck pointed out, if they wanted to do a trilogy without Rey and Kylo, they don’t need to, with their stories done. There’s no reason for them to want to reset their own movies.

Ever noticed how compared to the EU Vader (both Legends and Disney), the movie Vader is a pacifist? Sure, movie Vader kills those who fail him and tortured Han once, but the Disney Vader drown an innocent entire city with a Jedi master seeing it in his final seconds in his first post-Mustafar battle in the Vader comics, and Legends Vader has decades of atrocities under his belt.

Well, there is plenty that we don’t see explained in the movies like how the rebels relocated from Yavin 4 to hoth.

Probably cause there just wasn’t enough time to have him do those kind of acts in the movie.
First one Tarkin is more the actual villain he’s the one that targets Alderaan he’s “holding Vader’s leash” basically Tarkin’s just there to stand in for the Emperor.
And then in the other two Vader’s only drive is finding and turning his son.
He just didn’t need to have any moments of overly cruel actions.

I’m well aware. Still funny how the EU made Vader more like what he was meant to be than the movies did.

I think that Vader was at first, a loyal dog to Darth Sidious up until after the events of ANH but before ESB, a time during which he slowly realizes that there’s something about Luke.

I like the Disney reason for Vader sticking with Palpatine more than the Legends version, honestly. Legends has Vader loyal to him due to him wanting to overthrow him, where Disney Vader has nothing left but Palpatine, at least until he discovers Luke.
