They killed the star… it killed them back
@QuasarNova
Yep. Harry Potter x Star Wars crossover confirmed. Some dude’s crazy headcanon became reality.

Too bad it involved Han taking one for the team.
Which by the way, how long before people assimilate that?

Eh, Ford looked quite tired during much of the film anyhow. Though I wonder who chose to give him the Obi-Wan treatment.
@Zincy
I blame Mothma or Bothans for that one. Who the hell chooses to disband nearly there entire fleet and let planets just do their own protecting themselves again after what happened. It didn’t work for the Republic then and it definitely won’t work now.

Canon wise? Twice, first the old Republic then the Galactic Republic. Legends a couple more after the Vong invasion. Given that by then the Rebellion/New Republic/Whatever they’re calling themselves this week was by then full of either corrupt/incompetent/stupid politicians, Borssk Fey’la and Daala it’s not surprising.

|| Seriously though, Starkiller base was pretty badass. Super space shotgun that eats stars, like some insane combo of the Death Star, the Scatter Cannon, and the Starforge. I was worried that it would have been just the Deathstar mk3.||

|| Still is stupid because now we need to build even more solar panels, so we can finally show other planets who’s boss||

We’re talking about a Star Wars film for the first time all over again. I know it, and yet, I’m still amazed.

|| Well, any big, planet killing super weapon is going to basically be the Deathstar, but at least this one was different in that its beams traveled faster than light, and scattered like a shotgun blast rather than it just being a bigger deathstar. Also, it was powered by eating a star||

I really enjoyed the movie. So much fun stuff in it. But probably one of my biggest gripes is:
||Kylo or Ben, or whatever Mr. Whiney’s name is. He just doesn’t really feel like a threat. Heck Finn was able to hold him off for a bit with a lightsaber. And as far as I can tell he aint the least bit force sensitive.
But now this dude who apparently betrayed and killed all of Luke’s students had to work to beat him in a fight?
I don’t fear him. Basically. And that’s a big flaw to have in your Big Bad Evil Guy.
