What if the Star Wars sequel trilogy was produced by Neal M. Horitz instead of J.J. Abrahams?

After recently watching Revenge of the Sith with my mother… well, it still may be my favourite, but I became more aware of how it seriously needed another draft or two. Lose some of the expensive, drawn-out action scenes - particularly from the opening parts on the ship - and give us more scenes of Anakin’s slow corruption and Padme… well, how about just having the real Padme here instead of some lovestruck damsel?

Star Wars EU writers before the Prequals: I’m sure Lucas has a clear idea for what the Clone Wars were like, and don’t want us messing with them.

That’s sort of the feel I get from the prequels; He knew the endpoint, but kept getting so sidetracked that by the time of Episode III he had to rush and jam all of the actual character development into that one.

I’m talking about the Clone Wars specifically, due to how often it was referenced in the EU before the Prequels, and how every one of them were wrong. Also, Palpatine was going to be a yes man to his supporters before Lucas changed that for Empire Strikes Back. He changed his “vision” quite alot while making the movies.

I mean that factors into it, too; The clone wars themselves are barely in the trilogy that was supposed to be set during them.

All the speculation on who or what might pop up in Obi-Wan and I don’t think I’ve seen anyone suggest Hondo appearing so I’m just gonna throw that out there now.

I think they might; It seems that they’re also going to make restored content DLC. While I’d rather it be a part of the base game, the fact that they’re doing it at all is a good sign.
