I remember coming out of TLJ not feeling great like confused or conflicted would be a way to describe how I felt “I didn’t hate it” I said coming out of the theater as if I knew didn’t like it but didn’t really want to admit it but as I reflected on it and processed my thoughts on it and now I admit disdain might be the word for how I feel.

Well I need to read Dark Empire to see how much is copy/paste of it is for TROS but I’m doubting it’s that much since to copy it JJ would have had to be aware of AU stuff and I’m doubtful he even knew about Jacen Solo when he created Ben Solo (or Ben Skywalker for that matter).
Like Dark Empire at least explains way Palpatine comes back instead of just “somehow”.
