I’m going say for me the worst is the Dreadnought.
I hate everything about that thing not only is it ugly AF it’s whole design is so contrived for the sake of the plot Poe is able to no problem destroy its guns on top that I’ve honestly wonder the same point this video brought up: why not just have Poe fly under and destroy the big guns? Why bother with the worthless-ass StarFortresses making a bombing run on its convenient weak spot?
Because it’s part of the director’s attempt at “deconstructing” Star Wars trying to make it like the Battle of Yavin complete with an exportable weak spot that can blow up the whole thing except with “oh the horrible cost of war was it really worth it” tacked on.
Which is funny to me because a year before the TLJ came out we had a whole movie to explain why the Death Star had that weak point so are we going to get a story about why the Dreadnought had a weakness reminiscent of that one and yes I know the Campaign DLC for Battlefront II explained how the Resistance got the plans of the Dreadnought to know about its weak point but I’m talking the reason it’s there at all again much the Death Star’s weakness for which an entire film was made to explain a literal year before this one.
Is it going to turn there was an engineer that was upset at the First Order destroying his family so this was his revenge like maybe his kid was ripped away from him to become a Stormtrooper.

Like I don’t hate it in and of itself in a high fantasy D&D like setting I’d thing it’s pretty rad but this isn’t that this is Star Wars get that shit outta here.
