Okay Rebels had a couple episodes with Mining Guild as antagonist.  
Ya get the one with the pergil where the Ghost crew are stealing fuel from the MG and it feels like they wanted me to hate the Mining Guild but all I could personally see was guys just trying to make a living.  
Then you have the later episode on Lothel with Mining Guild again as antagonists but this time they showed them using slave labor so it was like “okay you at least did the job of making them actually evil this time.”  
Now we have the new Mandalorian episode (and I don’t consider this much of spoiler) where right after Endor a group of miners come in and shoot up a town and take it over.  
It just seems to me Star Wars has taken a liking to vilifying miners.
