Hopefully I am not doing a double on this topic. I noticed there are several artist on here that do age regression art. It be cool if the age regressors of this website opened up a bit about how and why they chose this art. What attracted you to the age regression activity?
My take on it
I am autistic myself and I use this strategy especially to overcome my disability. Time away from the adult life gives me the ability to really think about my problems realistically. I suppose its only natural I take it into my art and writing. I actually can’t sleep without my 5 foot stuffed animals. I got to where I use one as a pillow and then my special one for my arms. Sometimes anxiety hits me hard while I am alone. In public I keep myself from clamping my jaw with my tongue and it kind of works. At home I find my autistic pacifier works the best. Imagining myself as my OC Little Lily some how allows me to face my problems and think about them without my anxiety taking over. The child like character of having determination seems to have attracted me the most. Of course the first year of doing any of it was focused on allowing myself to explore how all this worked. Anxiety and depression was so bad I felt like I had absolutely nothing to lose.
