Wait, the paradox mons aren’t evolutions or new forms? That’s very lame. Also, I decided to look at the evolutions of S/V. 3 need you to walk 1000 steps without returning it to the pokeball, 1 needs you to give it 999 coins, another “have another player in the Union Circle and battle or level up Finizen” (whatever that means). A move-base evolution requires using rage fists 20 times first, and the last one requires “defeating 3 Bisharp in groups with Pawniard that hold a Leader’s Crest (the opponents hold it) then level up.” Why make the evolution system more complex than it needs to be?

And after grinding on the S.S. Aqua to level 60 for each mon, I have beaten Red. Now to catch Silver exclusives, send them to Crystal, make sure these mons have the desired nature, and and send them to the bank.

Larry was a member of the elite four. Just a normal dude. But that’s not all. The battle I had at the end with Nemona kinda reminds me of what I’d do in older games.

Think of them as paradoxes, based on how some ideas of Pokémon might be in the ancient past for Scarlet or the distant future for Violet. That’s what makes them stand out from regional variants, or in the cases of Wiglett/Wugtrio and Toedscool/Toedscruel, regional “cousins” if you will.
