It’s been quite a long time since any news regarding Scarlet & Violet, nice to see some new details and Pokemon

I feel like the four-way connection is going to be a mess. What does it even add to the gameplay loop?

I’m just realizing now that the new games should be renamed Pokemon Past & Future since one looks prehistoric and the other futuristic.

Plus with how much the games love to restrict progress to gym badges (including SnS, their “open-world” Pokemon game), I can’t imagine it being very useful even if you were able to get three people to stand around and play with you.

We can only hope it’ll be passable.

What would you suggest?

I’m not a game designer, I just know that locking players out of the vast area with story progression and heavily restricting what they can catch isn’t open-world. Not to mention the yearly releases, relatively small staff, and them determine to design the games to be easy enough for a blind baby to beat them.

I feel like the only person who doesn’t like the idea of open world to begin with. Plus the dozens of other things I don’t like in modern Pokemon so it’ll be a hard pass for me.

The one legendary looks alright I guess.
