So I’ve got Monferno, Budew, Shellos, Luxio, and Staravia. That’s basically my old team from back in G4. The 6th slot is currently a Bibarel.

My planned team will include Turtwig, Jirachi, Manaphy, Happiny and Riolu.

Pokemon took over.

So I’ve noticed that Pokémon like certain foods based on what nature they’re given. Does this mean they can still eat the other foods? And another thing to add is would it be recommended to have Pokémon at neutral natures to win Super Contests? Or can they win any kind like in ORAS and the nature means “one type of food won’t increase as fast so you’re gonna have to make a lot to max it out.”?

They can still eat the other flavors, but they have a favorite and a hated one, each corresponding to an attribute that make it easier and harder respectively to raise.

Or, perhaps it has more to do with it affecting their affection towards you.

So it does have to do with one attribute still being possible to raise but it will take longer than the others due to the nature? I would like to have all my Pokémon that I raise for battles online also take a shot in some contests as well, just because I like collecting ribbons.

Have you gotten this far in BDSP to study this? Because it would be another shitty decision from TPC to drop something that was pretty much a quality of life feature back in ORAS when it came to Pokémon contests. But they can’t be that fucking stupid, right?

Oh…..and I can’t find anything on Serebii at the moment that confirms my question.

Jupiter’s Skuntank was a real pain. Bibarel managed to Rollout it into oblivion, though at the cost of Aftermath taking it out after the fact.

Also, is it just me or is the happiness system completely busted right now? I should at least have hearts appearing on Monferno by this point…
